Current sixth form students were invited to take part in a sound workshop at the Tate Modern.  They recorded sounds around the gallery starting in the Tanks and then headed upstairs to the gallery to continue collecting audio samples before they split into 2 groups and edited their sounds to create a short piece they could then present to each other and members of the public in the gallery space. The images show them in action, collecting, editing and performing their audio art works.

The art department is also pleased to be working with Nottingham University, The Royal Shakspeare Company and The Tate on a 3 year research project across 30 schools nationally.  This porject has been funded by The Arts Council.
